About
pacesetter_homes_construction_warranty_telepost

A telepost is the steel column extending from the concrete floor to the underside of the beam.  This is used to transfer the load from the main floor to a footing under the basement floor.  Their locations are based on the span of the beams, joists and main floor loads.

Pacesetter Warranty Policy:

Common concerns:

  1. Telepost crooked – teleposts can be out of plumb by 1”. If the telepost is crooked beyond specifications, contact Pacesetter Warranty within the warranty period.
  2. Missing lag bolts – contact Pacesetter Warranty immediately if lag bolts are missing from the telepost.
  3. Telepost is in an inconvenient location – teleposts support the structure of your home. The locations are specified by engineering requirements. If installed as specified, this is exempt from warranty coverage.
