Backplash and Tile Trim

Backsplash is a material used to cover the area of a wall between the kitchen countertop and upper cabinets to protect the wall from splashes.  Backsplash can come in a variety of materials, though typically tile is the most common. Backsplashes will come in a variety of heights and are not installed above every counter. Backsplash can come in a variety of different patterns and colors.  The metal border around the tile is the Tile Trim, typically made of stainless steel, which surrounds and protects the edges of the backsplash.
